THE ANNOTATION
D. E. Telegin Epidemiological, clinical and immunological peculiarities of hepatitis Delta in western region of Ukraine. - Manuscript
The dissertation shows the results of serologic, clinical and epidemiological researches of hepatitis delta prevalence in western region of Ukraine among 932 patients with various forms of hepatitis В. After taking to the attention 94 cases of hepatitis delta it was considered certain fea-tures of immunological pathogenesis and clinical run of the illness with various levels of virus rep-licative activity and with dependence on specific lymphocyte reactivity to HBV and HDV an-tigens. It was determined that the frequency of HDVAb revealiny (11,3 %) related the western region of Ukraine to a zone with low endemically. The most infected are hematological patients (17,5 %) and patients of hemodialisis (16%).
The clinical run of delta coinfection has shorter incubation period, high frequency of exac-erbation and often imperfection of infectional process on the 6-th month of its run. The pathogeni-cally substantiation of incubation period reduction at delta coinfection is faster development of lymphocytes sensibilization to HBV antigens. Severe forms of hepatitis delta, as a rule, are accompanied immunologiocal tolerance or late reactivity for HBsAg, HBeAg and HDAg.
Simultaneous HBV and HDV replication in hepatitis delta is accompanied by most severe significant infringements in subpopulative lymphocytes structure.
Key words: hepatitis delta, research epidemiological, clinical demonstration, replicative activity, immunological reactivity.
